Hello dear friends,

It is a pleasure to write about what is happening in my life and the development of our ministry.

The last time I wrote or talked with you, I commented a bit about the season of Mission Adventures here in YWAM Heredia.

Since then, the skateboarding ministry, J:19 (Joshua 1:9), has been slow, but major steps have been taken in San Rafael to create relationships and impact the lives of these boys.
This has been achieved thanks to the grace that God has placed in us, the help of different support teams, your faithful prayers and your offerings.

The time of training for staff in the DTS (Discipleship Training School) challenged me in a lot in different areas of my life. We have 4 students from different parts of the world. We pray for the students so that God will be revealed to them, their financial needs will be met, and so that God will show us the place for outreach.

Here at the base I help with the maintenance, translating, making breakfast, and various other tasks. I have met many people from all over the world that have affected my life. Now with their prayers and offerings they are also part of the ministry that God has given us.
All the work that we do at the base also makes it easier for the teams, so that they impact people that they meet during their outreach here in Costa Rica.

With my studies, I am waiting for the dates for the upcoming exams and I am talking with a professor who gave me a very good price.
As for my health, remember the root canal? I decided to just pull the tooth out completely. I had to visit to a private clinic and they did it on December 18 and charged me about $50

For the holidays of Christmas and New Years, we scheduled a missions trip to Nicaragua, but I didn't go because I had a problem with my passport. So instead I spent some good time with my family and friends. With all that encouragement, we started receiving students for the DTS starting on January 10, here in Heredia.

Based on all that is happening and, God willing, going to happen, I invite you to faithfully be part of this ministry by helping with these needs:

*Pray for our skater friends, so that they can see the grace God put in us and they will receive His love through us.
*Financial support so we can purchase skateboarding supplies, transportation, etc...

*Pray for the students, staff, teachers, and outreach of this DTS.
*Financial support so we can pay for the DTS lecture phase and outreach.

*Pray for the staff and the people that come to the base.
*Financial support to pay $150 each month in staff fees.

*Pray for my studies and my health.
*Financial support to pay for exams, teachers, and doctors.

I really want to keep in touch with you and if you want to ask me something, I really want to know what you need.Thank you all for your prayers and your continued support. I pray that God will bless you and your families in this new year.
